What You Can Expect Day-to-Day
While this role oversees various warehouse functions, following are the core daily activities the Warehouse Manager will be accountable for:
- Maintain and control inventory stock levels, cycle counts, and reconciling
- Supply purchase orders to vendors and receive them into the system
- Coordinate yearly physical inventory
- Manage daily operations: checking all orders coming in and going out, coordinating deliveries, freight pick-ups, will call, and installs
- Supervise and maintain all warehouse and office staff by recruiting, interviewing, selecting, and training employees
- Guide warehouse and office staff by coaching, monitoring, disciplining
- Challenge current processes and cultivate/institute optimal efficiencies
- Balance monthly shipment logs with BOL documentation and shipment plans
- Maintain vendor relations and work directly with freight providers.
- Order and maintain office supply and safety equipment inventories
- Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse daily, inspecting forklifts and delivery trucks, ensuring all checklists and maintenance records are kept up to date. Schedule maintenance on rental equipment as needed
- Ensure daily that all safety precautions and rules are followed
What it Takes
We are looking for an organized, trustworthy Warehouse Manager who can successfully execute and manage all warehouse functions.
Minimum Required:
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, and/or warehouse
- Standing, bending, walking, pushing, stooping, and lifting during working hours
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
- Lift and move objects weighing up to 75+ lbs.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Flexible and amiable to work demands
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and practices used in the shipping and receiving of materials and supplies
- Ability to work independently and work effectively with others in leadership
- Close attention to detail
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- Exceptional communication skills with excellent phone and data entry skills
- Must have a clean motor vehicle record

What You Can Expect Day-to-Day
While responsibilities may vary day-to-day, the core job duties include:
- Perform regular maintenance and safety checks, as well as various repairs when necessary
- Receive and ship equipment from the warehouse
- Unload containers received from the Port
- Check packing slips with equipment and parts in containers
- Make Ready equipment before sending it to dealers
- Document all inspections, repairs, and other items of concern, and communicate appropriately to the supervisor or customer, both verbally and in writing
- Follow verbal and written instructions to properly handle vehicles, documents, maintenance, parts, and equipment
- Ad hoc requests

Minimum Required:
- Valid Arizona driver’s license
- Clean motor vehicle record
- Ability to provide a timely and accurate diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of customer and company vehicles, including forklifts, high lifts, and other equipment, to ensure proper and safe function
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication skills
- Superior customer service skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- 2+ years of vehicle maintenance experience or trade school
- Knowledge of each vehicle or piece of equipment to test different functions for safe and proper operation
